Learn about product licenses

IMPORTANT:Please, check the full license upon download to abide by the author's wishes. Be sure to use each license according to its authority. Once the item is downloaded, you will receive full details. By law, you must abide by the rules of the license.

Below you will find all about our products license/s and the details of what they mean and what they can offer you.

Commercial Use (CU)This license lets you commercially sell and distribute it. In most cases within our collection of digital products, they will state how this is possible. For example, the product might come with master resell rights (MRR) and this means that you can sell and distribute the product with certain conditions, regarding what that license may give you. This is the most common of the licenses we offer.

Give Away Rights (GAR)Give Away Rights is basically all digital products that have the rights to share, distribute across the internet, give away to your subscribers on a mailing list, and basically anyone who is wanting a free product, you may give away freely. These products might even come with sale rights but it is not necessary to sell these products if you're just wanting to give them away for free.

Master Resell Rights (MRR)Master resell rights is a license that gives you permission to pass on resell rights to your customers. If you download a product with master resell rights and then sell it, your customer may resell the product to obtain a product as you did. In Some cases, it also allows you to pass on master resell rights to your customers.

MORE: MRR or master resell rights products. Master resell rights products are similar to RR products in that you cannot change the product or claim authorship or copyright to the product.

Although you have the right to sell it to the end user just like RR labeled products here is where it is different, you can sell resell rights to the product. You have the right to enable a customer to purchase the product with the ability of that customer to resell it themselves. That is the difference between MRR and RR. MRR means you can sell resell rights to the product you are marketing, RR means you cannot sell resell rights, you can only sell the product to the end user.

Personal Use (PU)Personal Use licenses can only be used for personal affairs, such as reading, sharing (only if stated), or teaching. Products with PU cannot in any way be resold or changed as this license restricts such acts. With personal use licenses, you may make an unlimited amount of backup copies. In most cases, unless stated within the license itself or within the product, it cannot be distributed.

Private Label Rights (PLR)
Private Label Rights is a license to a product. PLR gives the user the right to do just about anything they're wanting to do with it. For example, you can edit it, change the content, label it as your own (meaning claim authorship of it), and sell it. This license usually means you can do just about anything you are wanting to do with it (Please read the particular product's full license for further details).

MORE: PLR, the best option for a product you want to resell. A product labeled PLR or private label rights, can literally be treated as if you created it yourself. You can put your name on it as the author. You can sell resell rights and master resell rights to the product. The only thing you cannot do is claim copyright to the product even though you can claim authorship.

Another difference with PLR products is that you can change and edit them. You can add comments, rewrite parts, even rewrite the whole thing. You can change formats, for example you can convert an ebook into an audio product by reading it into a recorder. Once you change the product significantly, it in essence becomes a new product and now you can claim copyright to the new changed product.

I must throw one caveat in here, make sure you understand exactly what you are buying. While I have outlined what is generally accepted to be the difference between these types of products, product creators may have their own definition of what they are selling. Make sure you look specifically at how the product creator will let you use the product.

Resell Rights (RR)
Resell rights mean that the particular item can be re-sold to any number of customers. There are such boundaries with RR licensed products such as you cannot resell the product with resellable rights, meaning, you can only sell the product 'as-is' and cannot pass on or resell the product with a resellable license to your customers.

MORE: Resale rights products, are products that you purchase that you have the right to resell to others to make a profit. The only thing you are allowed to do is to resell the product to the end user. You can not change it in any way, you can not claim authorship or copyright to the product.

Resell rights products can be sold by you to someone who wants to use the product for themselves. They cannot resell the products themselves. You do not have the right to offer any one else the ability to sell that product.
